Jumeirah Emirates Towers

Luxury and Sustainability can co-exist in Perfect Harmony.

Rising majestically above the Dubai skyline, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, completed in 2000, are more than just architectural marvels—they are a testament to a city’s dream, ambition, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Located in the centre of Dubai’s financial district, these twin towers stand tall, symbolizing progress and power.

Jumeirah Emirates Tower One stands 355 meters (1,165 feet) tall with 54 floors, serving as a premier business hub, while Jumeirah Emirates Tower Two is slightly shorter at 309 meters (1,014 feet) with 56 floors, offering world-class hospitality. The towers are connected by a central podium, housing a shopping mall and fine dining restaurants.

One of the most iconic features of Jumeirah Emirates Towers is the sky bridge, which connects the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. This architectural marvel offers stunning panoramic views of Dubai, further reinforcing the towers status as a landmark of modern luxury and innovation.

Signify took on the Jumeirah Emirates Towers lighting project with a vision to merge sustainability, efficiency, and architectural brilliance. Inspired by Dubai’s commitment to a greener future, the project aimed to reduce energy consumption, lower the carbon footprint, and set a new benchmark for eco-friendly illumination. The installation involved using and incorporating 3 key products from LiteMagic which are the GiantEco, iGrazer, MagicTube, Point direct view luminaires. The fixtures were mounted directly on the building façade structure, spaced back-to-back on each floor, and installed on the illuminated surface to create a direct
view lighting effect.

By Integrating state of-the-art connected LED lighting technology and smart lighting system Signify achieved an annual energy savings of 609,475 kilowatt-hours with reduced carbon emissions by approximately 243,790 kilograms of CO2 per year.

Signify transformed the towers into a beacon of sustainability, ensuring optimal brightness while minimizing energy waste. This initiative not only enhances the towers’ aesthetic appeal but also aligns with Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s most sustainable cities, proving that luxury and sustainability can coexist in perfect harmony.
